The beautiful city of Dubai is home to miles and miles of golden fine-sand beaches, and with the beautiful year-round weather, you can enjoy the beach any time you wish.
These beaches are on the warm, beautiful Persian Gulf, also known as the Arabic Gulf. Dubai is often associated with Luxury and exclusive spots yet full of free public beaches for everyone to enjoy.
Most beaches have essential services: bathrooms, changing rooms, and showers, and most of the official beach parks also have lifeguards. Some beaches even offer Smart Palms, a free public Wi-Fi hot spots with solar-powered device charging stations.

Jumeirah Beach Residence is the most extensive beach in Dubai and is described by most people as the best. It extends the entire length of the JBR area. The beach offers plenty of facilities, restaurants, and shops for ice cream and snacks. The sand is soft white and powdery, and the water is warm and beautiful blue-green. There are lifeguards on duty, and swimming areas are roped off with buoys.
Jumeirah Beach Park is a beachfront park and recreation area very close to downtown Dubai. It has beautiful terraces and green grass with many places to eat, picnic, and play.
The beach is beautiful but slightly narrow compared to other beaches in town, with less distance from the waterline to the sidewalk.
In Jumeirah Beach Park, Mondays are for ladies and children only.
If you want those Instagram-worthy pics of the Burj al Arab, Umm Suqeim Beach, also known as Sunset Beach, is the place to go. This is another broad, flat beach along the coastline, right where the Burj is located. The beach is one of the only surf breaks in Dubai.
This beach has lifeguard stands and basic facilities (toilets, showers, and changing rooms). There are covered picnic areas and playgrounds.
Kite Beach is one of Dubai's most popular beaches – perfect for sun-seekers, foodies, and sports enthusiasts alike. If you're serious about your water sports and want to test your skills on one of the best free beaches in Dubai, Kite Beach has plenty of challenges. Located just off the Jumeirah neighborhood, you'll find high-quality equipment available to rent along the sand
Al Mamzar is a fantastic family-friendly beach great family beach stuffed with lifeguards. There's a picnic area, a playground for kids, and two large swimming pools. All are free and open to the public.
The beach offers excellent views. It is a clean beach with light sand; waves come nicely—a few coffee shops on the beach with good choices on the menu. Parking is free and easily accessible.
The Palm Jumeirah is the remarkable palm-frond-shaped archipelago development that projects out into the Persian Gulf. While there are some public areas of the rocky shoreline, there are no public beaches on The Palm.
The Dubai Marina is a luxury residential area near JBR. Marina Beach is the last section of sandy beach along The Walk, opposite The Beach JBR beachfront mall. It's a wide, flat, beautiful beach with Dubai's typical soft white sand. The water is warm, and lifeguards are on duty.
Dubai Creek and Deira, where Dubai started as a trading port, is one area that maintains the emirate's history. Dubai Creek is also a good location for sightseeing, a walk through the souks of Deira is a must-do activity.
Jebel Ali was known for its vast industrial zone and harbor. But today is famous for its beautiful recreational development area, home to many long sandy beaches where you can relax and enjoy a sunbath in the most serene atmosphere.
La Mer is a splendid entertainment zone. La Mer beach combines a beautiful stretch of beach with restaurants, a water park, and lots of entertainment.
The beach is nice and clean, groomed several times a day. The water is warm, and the waves are very gentle as the beach is on a bay protected by the Pearl Jumeirah development.
