Updated: Feb 18, 2026, 02:08 PM

Global millionaire migration is reaching record highs, according to the Global Millionaire Migration Report 2026. Arab business coverage of the Henley & Partners and New World Wealth figures reports that 142,000 millionaires are expected to relocate worldwide in 2025, and that the wider cross-border wealth movement is projected to rise to 165,000 in 2026, showing how quickly private capital and business families are shifting bases.
Notably, the report’s criteria only count HNWIs who relocate and remain in their new country for more than six months, focusing on long-term moves rather than short stays.
The latest Global Millionaire Migration Report 2026 coverage shows the biggest projected net losses are now led by the United Kingdom, followed by China and India. The UK is forecast to see a net outflow of 16,500 millionaires, overtaking China, which is expected to lose 7,800. India is also projected to record a net loss of around 3,500 millionaires as wealth continues to diversify across borders.
Other countries still flagged for notable millionaire outflows in the same reporting include Russia (1,500), with additional losses reported across parts of Asia and Latin America as mobility rises into 2026.
The UAE reigns as the top global destination among countries attracting millionaires. According to the report, the volume for high-net-worth individual migration to the UAE will reach up to 6,700 boosted by migrations from the UK and Europe.
Alongside the UAE millionaire influx, the other notable countries attracting millionaires include the United States (3,800), Singapore (3,500), Canada (3,200), and Australia (2,500).
The report noted several key reasons for the millionaire migration:
