For its 26th season, Global village, GCC’s best attraction for families and a top destination for culture, shopping, and entertainment, will open its gates for guests on October 26, 2021.
For over two decades, Global Village has been offering world-class attractions, high-energy entertainment, mouth-watering cuisine, and unique shopping experiences for visitors from around the world. Gathering more than 80 cultures together in one wonderful place.
For this year’s edition, 26 pavilions will be displaying authentic products and wonders from all the world’s corners, including a new Iraq pavilion.
To go and explore Global Village, tickets are available online for AED 15, through the Global Village website, or through the smart App “Global Village” available on the Play store for Android devices and “Global Village Dubai” on the App Store for Apple devices.
You can always purchase your ticket at Global village gates and counters, and it costs 20 AED, 5 dirhams more than the E-ticket.
Children under the age of three, people of determination and senior citizens are eligible for free entry with one companion. Those who are assisting people of determination will will be granted free entry.
The venue is open from Saturday to Wednesday from 4:00 PM TO 12:00 AM, Thursday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 01:00 AM.
Mondays (except those falling on a public holiday) are exclusively reserved for families and ladies. The Road Transportation Authority made it very easy to reach Global Village by providing many buses that serve the destination with several bus routes, including Route 102 from Rashidiya Metro Station, Route 103 from Union Metro Station, Route 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, and Route 106 from Mall of Emirates Metro Station. Taxis are readily available. Parking is free if you drive down to the village, but there is no Metro service to Global Village.
The season is scheduled to run until April 10, 2022, with millions expected to visit Dubai.
Art, music, shopping, and so many things to do and discover, traditional cultural performances, street entertainment, dazzling main stage presentations, stunt shows, street food, and a massive carnival area with loads of rides. The pavilions are designed in the image of iconic structures or local architecture, inviting all to meander from London’s Big Ben to the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy, take selfies against the romantic backdrop of the Taj Mahal or travel back in time to ancient Egypt and much more. Visitors can also discover over 250 rare artifacts, unbelievable exhibits, wax figures of strange, unusual, and historical people, interactive games, and a mind-bending Vortex Tunnel.
