In Dubai, you can register for Ejari through two primary channels:
1. Online Registration (Recommended):
2. In-Person Registration:
It is a requirement for both tenants and landlords in Dubai to register a tenancy agreement with Ejari. This can be completed in person at a typing center or online via the DLD website or the Dubai REST app. The original signed lease agreement, the receipt for the security deposit, an Emirates ID, and copies of your passport are required. A title deed or trade license, among other documents, may be required depending on the type of property and owner. Online applications typically require a registration charge of AED 155; in-person registrations may incur a little higher fee. Recall that to access services like DEWA connections and visa processing, you must have a current Ejari registration.
