Live concerts and entertainment shows are thriving again and utterly back in the UAE. A group of artists hit the stages across Abu Dhabi and Dubai with the revoking of social distancing measures. Pinoy Piyesta: 2 September
Some of the Philippines megastars are coming to Dubai. Pinoy Piyesta is taking place in Dubai's Coca-Cola Arena, bringing together Filipino stars from the world of music, comedy, and the arts. The star-studded line-up of Filipino musicians includes singer and rapper KZ Tandingan, singer, songwriter, producer, and former actress Morisette; rock star and actress Yeng Constantino. Tickets start from AED 129 and are now available.
Jo Koy: 3 September
Dubai comedy fans will be pleased to have a night of never-seen-before material from Jo Coy in his re-scheduled Funny Is Funny World Tour date at Coca-Cola Arena. Jo Koy has come a long way from his humble start performing at a Las Vegas coffee house to selling out the world's most prestigious platforms. Tickets start from AED 180 and are now available.
Hyperound K-Fest Abu Dhabi: 10 September
Megastars from South Korea's K-pop scene will be coming to Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, and it looks like it's set to be a big one. So far, the set list includes the boyband group P1Harmony; rapper Sik-K; DJ Woogie; GOT7's lead boyband member Jay B; rapper, record producer and singer Peakboy; and the rock band The Rose. Tickets start from AED 300 and are now available.
Westlife: 29 September
The Irish group is bringing The Wild Dreams Tour to Abu Dhabi, which will see the band perform some of their greatest hits in the Middle East. The legendary Irish boyband is now a foursome and includes the singers Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Tickets are now available.
50 Cent: 30 September
As part of his Green Light Gang World Tour, rapper and actor Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will perform a one-off show at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. The platinum-selling superstar will bring his Green Light Gang World Tour to Dubai, so get ready to sing along to his hits ranging from In Da Club to Candy Shop. The last time 50 Cent performed in the emirate was over a decade ago. Tickets start from AED 225 and are now available.
The Script: 5 October
Irish rock band, The Script have added a stop in Dubai to their Greatest Hits World Tour. Lead vocalist and keyboardist Danny O'Donoghue, guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power will take to the stage at Bla Bla in JBR. Tickets are now available.
Justin Bieber: 8 and 9 October
Justin Bieber is set to perform at Coca-Cola Arena in October. Each evening promises to be a celebration for Bieber and his fans after the pandemic sidelined his 2020 tour. The megastar recently teamed up with director Cole Bennett for his new single Honest, featuring Don Toliver. Tickets are now available.
Liam Gallagher: 29 October
British rock singer Liam Gallagher, famous as the frontman of Oasis, is set to perform solo hits alongside Oasis fan favorites on the second day of Club Social at Yas Links. The crowd will be treated to songs including Shockwave, Wall of Glass, and Once. Tickets start from AED 125 and are now available.
Disney's The Lion King: 16 November to 10 December
25 years after Disney's The Lion King premiered on Broadway, news of its debut in the Middle East is finally here – and the countdown has begun for the show's four-week run at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. Incidentally, the musical has entertained nearly 110 million people worldwide since its 1997 debut, with permanent residences in New York, London, Madrid, and Tokyo. The story is basically a musical retelling of Hamlet, but with lions. Tickets start from AED 200 and are now available.
Kendrick Lamar: 19 November
The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 is increasing the volume. Yasalam After-Race Concert Series has announced that American rapper Kendrick Lamar will be coming to the capital. Tickets to the Yasalam After-Race Concert Series are exclusively available for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders.
Calum Scott: 19 November
Calum Scott returns to Dubai for a headline show at the Hard Rock Café in November. His debut album, Only Human, hit number one on iTunes in 21 countries, entered the Top 10 on the US iTunes Chart, and has amassed over 6.4 billion combined streams. Tickets start from AED 299 and are now available.
Andrea Bocelli: 24 November
Hot on the heels of his performance at the Expo 2020 Dubai Opening Ceremony, world-renowned classical artist and six-time Grammy Award nominee Andrea Bocelli will return to the UAE with a one-off concert at Etihad Park, Yas Island. The world's most beloved tenor will take to the stage at the Middle East's largest outdoor venue, treating fans to a selection of hits, including Time To Say Goodbye and Vivo Por Lei. Lewis Capaldi: 24 November
Get ready to sing along to Lewis Capaldi's big hits, ranging from Someone you Loved to Before you Go. His debut song, Bruises, was so successful that it notched up 25 million plays on Spotify – all before he was a signed artist. Jimmy Carr: 7 January 2023
Jimmy Carr brings his Terribly Funny 2.0 World Tour to Etihad Arena, Yas Island, for an exclusive UAE performance. Jimmy is known for delivering one-liners and extensive work across television and radio. His current comedy tour will feature over 280 shows this year. Tickets are now available.
Blackpink: 28 January 2023
K-pop supergroup Blackpink is bringing their Born Pink world tour to Abu Dhabi. K-pop fans in the capital will be delighted as the news follows the recent announcement that Hyperound K-Fest Abu Dhabi is coming to the UAE capital. The South Korean girl group starts its world tour in October, and it will stop off at cities including Seoul, Singapore, and Sydney. Blackpink is scheduled to perform in Riyadh on 20 January 2023 and in Abu Dhabi at the end of January. The concert venue, ticket prices, and timings have not yet been released.
