About Al Furjan

Al Furjan, meaning a cluster of villages in Arabic, is a community by master developer Nakheel. Following a Neo-Urbanism philosophy, the pedestrian-friendly community has many outdoor spaces, parks, camel paths, and cul-de-sacs to encourage walking and interaction. Al Furjan is located behind the Gardens and Discovery Gardens, just off Emirates Road.

The community is separated into four separate "villages" - East, West, North, and South. The layout and design of Al Furjan is a perfect blend of traditional neighbourhoods and sophisticated modern amenities.

Each community in Al Furjan is planned to have their own village center, with supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, parks, mosques, and fitness centers within walking distance.

Educational institutions in the area include Dubai Russian Private School, The Indian High School, New Indian Model High School, Pakistan Educational Academy, and St. Mary’s Catholic High School.

Nearby medical institutions include Mediclinic in Ibn Battuta Mall and in Discovery Gardens Pavilion, International Private Hospital, The American Hospital, Welcare Hospital, and Jebel Ali Hospital.
